Encalio Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Encalio websites, applications, messaging, marketplace tools, event planning tools, vendor listings, bookings, ticketing, media galleries, and support services. By using Encalio, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials secure, and use Encalio only for lawful event planning, vendor, attendee, ticketing, and marketplace activity.
Planner, attendee, and vendor responsibilities
Planners and attendees are responsible for event details, guest communications, uploaded media, ticket and RSVP activity, and lawful use. Vendors are responsible for accurate pricing, packages, availability, policies, capacity, licenses, insurance statements, and service terms.
Transparency requirements
Encalio is built around transparent vendor pricing and terms. Hidden fees, misleading packages, bait-and-switch pricing, deceptive availability, unclear refund/cancellation terms, and abusive sales practices are not allowed.
Bookings, contracts, payments, and tickets
Quotes, contracts, deposits, payment schedules, refunds, disputes, financing, processing fees, booking fees, ticket fees, taxes, and revenue share are governed by the accepted booking or ticket terms, vendor policies, event policies, and applicable payment processor rules. Encalio may collect platform fees, ticketing fees, booking fees, subscriptions, paid placement fees, and revenue share where disclosed. If a processor assesses a chargeback, dispute, or related processing fee for a vendor booking or ticketed event, the responsible vendor or event organizer may be responsible for that fee through payout deduction, invoice, saved payment method, or an admin-reviewed accounting adjustment.
Vendor terms and legal templates
Vendor terms, contract templates, refund policies, waivers, and planning guidance are operational starting points only and are not legal, tax, insurance, financial, or professional advice. Vendors and planners are responsible for reviewing terms with qualified professionals before relying on them.
Messaging, SMS, MMS, and notifications
Users may receive account, support, event, booking, ticket, marketing, or transactional messages through site alerts, email, SMS, MMS, or future app notifications where supported and permitted. SMS is included from Encalio; MMS is a paid prepaid-credit feature. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Users can use account preferences or carrier keywords such as STOP, START, and HELP where applicable.
Content, media, and intellectual property
You must own or have permission to upload, link, send, or publish content, images, videos, logos, reviews, event media, and vendor materials. You grant Encalio the rights needed to host, display, process, moderate, transmit, and operate that content within the service.
Beta and changing features
Beta, preview, or early-access features may change, pause, fail, lose data, or be discontinued. Do not rely on beta features for legally required records or time-sensitive event operations without your own backup.
Acceptable use
You may not harass, phish, spam, scrape private data, bypass consent controls, misuse invite or reach-back tools, upload malware, interfere with service operation, impersonate others, or use Encalio for illegal, unsafe, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
Moderation and enforcement
Encalio may review, refuse, remove, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts, listings, events, messages, media, payments, or access for suspected fraud, abuse, safety concerns, legal compliance, chargeback risk, policy violations, or platform security.
Third-party services
Encalio may connect to payment processors, messaging providers, calendar services, map providers, printing partners, financing providers, and other third parties. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Encalio is provided as a planning and marketplace platform. We do not guarantee vendor performance, event outcomes, uninterrupted availability, or third-party service behavior. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Encalio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated terms. Questions can be sent through the Contact page or to support@encalio.com.
